Creamy Karhai I used chicken with bones in it but I will recommend to make it with boneless chicken for more tasty result. White Chicken Karahi is a creamy variation of the traditional Karahi Chicken, made with lots of tomatoes, ginger, garlic. Karhai, or Kadhai, is an Indian wok, that is often used to stir-fry food, or deep-fry snacks and sweets. You can cook Creamy Karhai using 20 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook that.

Ingredients of Creamy Karhai

  1. It's 350 gm of Chicken.
  2. It's 200 ml of Cream(nestle).
  3. It's 125 gm of Yogurt.
  4. It's 1/4 cup of Oil.
  5. It's 1/4 cup of Melted Butter(optional).
  6. It's 2 of Onions.
  7. It's 2 of tomatoes.
  8. You need 1 tbsp of Ginger Garlic paste.
  9. It's 1 tbsp of Cornflour.
  10. It's 1/2 tsp of Red Chilli powder.
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Blackpepper powder.
  12. You need 1 tsp of Salt(to taste).
  13. It's 1/2 tsp of Garam masala powder.
  14. Prepare 2-3 of Green Cardamom.
  15. It's 2-3 of Cloves.
  16. Prepare 1 of Cinnamon stick.
  17. You need 3-4 of Green Chillies.
  18. Prepare of Juice of One Lemon.
  19. Prepare of Garnish.
  20. It's of Ginger Julians.

Creamy Karhai step by step

  1. Mix juice of one lemon in cornflour & marinate chicken in it for quite sometime.blanch tomato,remove skin & make fine paste..
  2. Heat oil +butter together in wok/ pot.add cardamom,cinnamon, bayleaf,cloves in oil.fry a minute add ginger garlic paste & marinated chicken in oil & fry at medium to high flame till changes colour.remove from wok setaside.
  3. In same oil add very finely chopped onions & fry to pink. Add tomato paste+spices.bhon ofy masala till onions blended into masala well(for this I hv used finely chopped onions)add chicken & beaten curd.mix well.let it cook till chicken tenders..
  4. When chicken is tender & massla is fried.add cream at low -medium flame while stirring.let it simmer for 5 min. Add split green chillies & garam masala.cover & flame off.
  5. Garnish withginger julians & chop coriander(sadlyI ran outof it).serve hot with naan or paratha.enjoy a creamy delight.

Heat oil in a wok, add the chicken and fry until its golden brown. Add the ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, and salt.
