- It's 500 gm of kaddu cut into med sized pcs,.
- Prepare 3 tbsp of mustard oil, pinch of methi dana, Pinch of saunf, 1 tejpatta, 1 tsp grated ginger,.
- Prepare 4-5 of dry red chilli broken into halves, 1/2 tsp haldi powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp dhania powder,.
- You need 1 tbsp of imli juice, 1 tbsp gur, salt to taste,.
Khatta Kaddu instructions
- Take a wok, add oil, heat it..
- Moderate the flame, add tejpatta, sauté it for a sec. Add methi dana, saunf & dry red chilli, let it splutter..
- Now add ginger, give a stir. Add haldi powder, stir it..
- Now add kaddu pcs, stir fry it for a while..
- Add dhania powder, red chilli powder & salt, stir fry it..
- Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until almost cooked..
- Open the lid, increase the flame, add imli & gur, mix it well..
- Cook it for a while. Do not over cook it..
- Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta..
- Have it with Puri or Paratha..
