Ingredients of Ragi finger millet Roti

  1. You need 2 cups of ragi /finger millet flour.
  2. You need 2 cups of water.
  3. Prepare to taste of salt.
  4. It's 1 of onion chopped.
  5. You need 2 tbsp of grated fresh coconut(optional).
  6. It's 1 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves.
  7. Prepare 1 of green chilli chopped.

Ragi finger millet Roti step by step

  1. Take two cups of water in a sauce pan let it boil, turn off the flame add two cups of ragi flour mix well, let it cool down for a while, knead the dough properly if it requires more water add little normal water and knead it.
  2. Now add chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt, grated coconut to the dough,give it a good mix.
  3. Take a small portion of the dough on a polythene sheet,pat and flatten it in to round shape with the help of palm and fingers.
  4. Now carefully take out roti from the sheet put it on hot pan, fry both sides until done..serve along with chutney or any vegetable curry of your choice..
