Ingredients of Ragi finger millet Roti
- You need 2 cups of ragi /finger millet flour.
- You need 2 cups of water.
- Prepare to taste of salt.
- It's 1 of onion chopped.
- You need 2 tbsp of grated fresh coconut(optional).
- It's 1 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves.
- Prepare 1 of green chilli chopped.
Ragi finger millet Roti step by step
- Take two cups of water in a sauce pan let it boil, turn off the flame add two cups of ragi flour mix well, let it cool down for a while, knead the dough properly if it requires more water add little normal water and knead it.
- Now add chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt, grated coconut to the dough,give it a good mix.
- Take a small portion of the dough on a polythene sheet,pat and flatten it in to round shape with the help of palm and fingers.
- Now carefully take out roti from the sheet put it on hot pan, fry both sides until done..serve along with chutney or any vegetable curry of your choice..
